Who saw this one coming? Well, people that know me personally more than likely. For those of you that don’t, mista jonz loves French cartoons/comics/video games, and I was really excited when they announced a Tintin movie a few years ago.
Having read a lot of the comics in my high school French class ages ago, along with Asterix, watching the animated series on Nickelodeon, and seeing the classic live action Tintin movies (yes, there were Tintin movies before this new CGI movie), and sharing a first name with the creator (minus an “s”) I can safely say I’m a fan.
This picture took me a few weeks to finish, mainly due to life getting in the way along with all the art jobs for the business piling up, but I couldn’t take it anymore and decided to finish it off this morning. I wanted to draw that well known picture by creator Georges Rémi, but add my own flavor to it (including a background). It’s not perfect but I like it.
