And this will probably be the last piece of artwork you see me do for another 2 -4 weeks. That’s just how things seem to go around here these days.
Anyway, you all know how much of a Sonic fan I am (along with my 1 year old, to whom this picture is for). I was watching the ending to Sonic Colors and thought that one scene where Sonic jumps up to high five the Wisp would make for a good picture to hang in m son’s room since he loves Sonic as well…literally…that boy gets excited when he sees the Sega logo on anything because he associated it with Sonic as early as 5 or 6 months old. The background is a redefined version from my old Ray the Flying Squirrel picture and the chaos emerald is actually a 3D model my buddy Ryan made for me to use in an old Shadow picture a few years ago. Now I just need to find an awesome frame for the print and find a good spot on my kid’s wall.
Inks, Photoshop CS3, Painter X (background), 4 hours.
