September 7th

This was another piece of Metroid fan art I did several years ago that I just never resubmitted. Part of the reason is because I wasn’t entirely satisfied with it the first time I finished it (which took several hours, probably between 11 and 13) and I was trying a new painting style. I didn’t really care for it the second time when I made some adjustments and swapped out the background. So now, let’s see if the third time is the charm, and let’s see how long before I hate this version as well. Background this time is from another Metroid picture in my gallery.
